The Crazy Dragon is going to school.
I was accepted to Sheridan college, and now i'm really excited to know that I am getting somewhere. I was afraid at first. It would be selfish and arrogant to think I was the best applicant, I am aware there are better artists out there, I was just hoping I would be at least lucky enough.
Lucky like 117! Heh fans will know what i'm talking about.
I didn't get into the course I wanted to, minimum score was 2.97, I got 2.73. So they transferred my application and I got into three other courses.
I'll be taking Creative and Visual Arts Advanced.
Yay! Though, that's not the only thing I have to tell you.
The majority of you don't know this, but I have to get jaw surgery. The date has been finalized for June 16th.
My mouth has needed a lot of work, and i've known I had to get this surgery for 8 years.
I've already had two retainers, two expanding devices, braces, i've had 5 wisdom teeth (two were fused together to make one giant ass tooth), and one surgery.
On April 22nd, I have to get another procedure done that will thicken the gum lining on my front bottom jaw. I'll have to get that done three times for three different areas.
The jaw surgery is the final one that I must go through.
They'll be turning my bottom and top jaw sideways so my teeth are aligned in the center. My bottom jaw will be pushed back, as my upper jaw will be pulled up and slightly forward.
For six weeks I will have my jaw wired shut completely, and i'll be on a liquid diet.
As for as thats concerned, it'll all be said and done at the beginning of August.
Then I will get the other two gum procedures done.
During this time I will be working. I won't have a lot of energy and can't work in the dining room where I am normally, instead i'll be in the basement doing laundry.
I am very thankful my work is being so accomodating for me.
