I had showed this picture previously and there was a comment about its webbed feet. Long story short, the dragon had big horns so it wouldn't be ideal for a marine dragon, yet it still had webbed feet. Here's my explanation: the dragon can use these webs to keep it's thin fingers from slipping between the rocks, if it decides to traverse a short distance across the land... 'course assuming the webbing is more like leather and can withstand something like that. Also if it needs to cool down and wants to swim with its head above water, it can do so with ease. Blort. |
